Supplements
Very well written, and user-friendly. I especially like that this was written by professors in North Carolina, and is extra relevant to our North Carolina students.
Fabulous book for teacher training or PSET course. Highly recommended
A highly practical and appropriate guide for our primary undergraduate students in their Professional studies module.
Easy to use and covers a great range of topics that trainee (and/or NQT) teachers need.
This is an excellent sources for master degree students.
Useful advice on all aspects of teaching for trainee teachers, links made to Teacher Standards. Very accessible.
This is an excellent and concise introduction to the subject. Certainly one I would recommend my year 1 DET students or possibly the more adventurous AET trainees.
A very interesting and informative book which includes generic chapters that cover all aspects of teaching in the classroom. It is easily accessible to students starting a teacher training course which can be 'dipped into' rather than read from cover to cover. Learning theories, group exercises and learning styles are all addressed.
This book explains teaching training methods in a very understandable way and includes some really good examples.
Lots of great examples suitable for those with little or no experience
