This book is well laid out and describes each section well. A good all rounder to help support any student.
This is an essential read for all psychology teachers and lecturers . It is written in a very readable style so excellent for non subject specialists , but still manages to be keep a subject specialist stretched and informed.
Very useful for all educationalists training
I reviewed this for a course, my usual habit is to skim read and pause over certain pages. Instead i found myself reading every word, 300 pages in and it occurred to me what was happening. So 8 have recommended the book for adoption because the text covers the subject well and is cahhenging for the reader, I especially enjoyed the way positive psychology in incorporated this enhances the work substantially.
An accessible text both for students who are familiar with the basics of psychology and also those who are new to the subject, with a wide range of topics considering how psychology can be applied in education. Would recommend for any students considering a career in teaching - a must read
