Lecturers teaching big mixed cohort intro statistics courses cite one of the more frequent challenges their students encounter involves choices over which statistical test to use. It's an interactive 'workbook' rather than a text and written in an engaging and non intimidating way. It assumes some basic knowledge and serves as a great tool for consolidation and practice.
I would recommend this to any undergrad and post grad research student.
