Theresa Davis

Theresa Davis, PhD, RN, NE-BC, FAAN, is the clinical director of the TeleICU at Inova Telemedicine in Northern Virginia. She led the implementation of the TeleICU in critical care at Inova in 2004 and implemented the Teledisaster program across the Northern Virginia region. She holds a PhD in Nursing Philosophy from George Mason University and has led research studies involving Healing Touch and technology acceptance. She is a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and adjunct faculty for George Mason University and Shenandoah University with a focus on Nursing Informatics, Advanced Pathophysiology and Research. She is a fellow in the American Academy of Nursing and a member of the Board of Directors for the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses.
