Stacey Giroux

Stacey Giroux is an Associate Research Scientist in the Ostrom Workshop and Adjunct in the Anthropology department at Indiana University. She earned her PhD in Anthropology from the University of Florida, with an emphasis in research methods. Her work uses a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods, including in-person interviews and social network analysis, and her research interests include farmer adaptation to climate change, food security in sub-Saharan Africa, and sustainable food systems. Working collaboratively and across disciplines, her research has appeared in journals such as Food Policy, World Development, Environmental Research Letters, Climate & Development, and PLoS ONE.
