Megan M. Schmidt-Sane Case Western Reserve University, USA

Megan M. Schmidt-Sane recently completed her PhD in medical anthropology and global health at Case Western Reserve University. She received her MPH from Columbia University in 2013 and is a Fulbright Grant recipient (2010–2011). She has worked in global health since 2008 in India, Uganda, and the United States, primarily on HIV/AIDS programs and mixed-methods research. Her main research interests are social determinants of health, infectious diseases (HIV/AIDS and Ebola), and urban health. She has actively collaborated with researchers in other disciplines, including public health, social work, and sociology.
