Ken Kuehn’s background is built on more than 40 years of building material distribution experience. After college, he spent 23 years with Wickes Lumber, a billion-dollar market leader in its day, holding a variety of senior leadership positions including Vice President-Sales and Marketing. In 2003, Ken was recruited by Huttig Building Products as Vice President-Sales, a position that was later expanded to include product management.
Ken’s last corporate stop was with Illinois Tool Works, a Fortune 200 industrial leader, where he served as Vice President of North American Sales for the ITW Building Components Group. In this capacity he had overall sales and marketing responsibility for this recognized supplier of software, metal connector plates, and automated equipment, servicing the wood component industry.
In 2013 Ken and his business partner launched CK Solutions, LLC providing consulting and executive recruiting services to leading lumber and building products suppliers in the U.S. He currently resides in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area.
