Jillian H. Broadbear is senior research fellow at Spectrum, Personality Disorder Service. Her published work includes pre-clinical and clinical research within the disciplines of behavioral pharmacology, mental health, substance misuse, and neuroendocrinology. She is currently working in the personality disorder field. This is a challenging area of psychiatry and associated with considerable stigma and misinformation, particularly within the mental health profession. One of Spectrum’s key foci is to constructively engage with the mental health workforce to improve treatment and support for people diagnosed with personality disorder.
