Cristyn Davies is a research fellow in the discipline of child and adolescent health, Sydney University Clinical School, Children’s Hospital at Westmead, NSW, Australia. She has expertise in gender and sexuality; child and adolescent health and development; LGBTI health, discrimination, and violence; sexual and reproductive health; human papillomavirus (HPV) and HPV vaccination; vaccine delivery systems; research methods and design; knowledge translation and implementation science; and health and education policy and practice. She is committed to using evidence-based research to close the gap between research and its translation into policy and practice to impact the lives, health, and well-being of gender- and sexuality-diverse people, and those with intersex characteristics, especially children, adolescents, and young adults. She aims to bridge the gap between academic work, policy, and practice in real-world settings and to do so in applied, accessible, and impactful ways for key stakeholders, service, and program end-users.
