Carol Lindee, PhD, is an assistant professor in the College of Business & Health Administration at the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois, USA. She teaches future business leaders in the fields of logistics, transportation, supply chain, operations management, and project management. By way of education, she holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering, an MBA in operations management, and a PhD in operations research. Prior to joining USF in 2015, she worked for 25 years at various manufacturing companies, primarily in the logistics and supply chain discipline. Her most recent corporate role was 18 years of employment for a US$1 billion global manufacturing company, where she served in roles such as a director of global supply chain planning and operations, and international logistics manager. In these roles, she performed process improvements, managed projects, served global customers, optimized logistics and supply chain costs, and managed a team of global talent.
