B. Britt Bromberg (Ph.D., Brown University, 1977) has been a Professor of Biological Sciences at the University of New Orleans since 1990, where he has taught a beginning course on the biology of aging to advanced undergraduate and beginning graduate students for the past decade. In 1993, he received the University of New Orleans Faculty Development Award, and he has held an NIH Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Yale University. His research interests include cell biology and physiological correlates of aging. He has served as a coeditor for two volumes with Kluwer/Plenum Publishers and has published numerous chapters and articles in refereed journals. His dedication and interest in teaching is illustrated by his service this year as coordinator of the 2003 Louisiana Science Olympiad involving 540 middle and high school students on the University of New Orleans campus.
